Nvidia CEO named Financial Times ‘Person of the Year’ for his role in AI





O Financial Times announced Jensen Huang as its Person of the Year, highlighting the Nvidia CEO’s central role in the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution.

In an interview with the newspaper, Huang recalls the unexpected phone call he received on his birthday from American President Donald Trump, which marked the beginning of an unusual relationship between the Republican and the engineer.

O FT says it is naming Huang its person of the year “because of the role he played in this transformation,” noting that Nvidia is leading one of the largest private investment cycles in history.
