O Desimpedidos Esporte Clube (DEC) begins a new phase in the Kings League by announcing, this Monday (15/12), a unprecedented co-management with paiN Gamingone of the most traditional and successful esports organizations in Brazil. THE agreement transforms paiN into co-responsible for the team’s sports, strategic and brand managementmarking the organization’s official entry into the league created by Gerard Piqué.
For the first time, paiN Gaming starts to work directly in the Kings League as co-manager of a team, bringing its competitive structure, its high-performance culture and the weight of one of the most engaged fans in the country to the DEC project. The partnership will be valid for the next seasons of the competition, which has more than 15 million followers on social media and exceeds 890 million hours spent on content.
A co-management between NWB/Desimpedidos and paiN Gaming provides for division of strategic decisionsactive participation in building the team’s brand, sports planning, commercial activations and direct connection with the football and esports communities. paiN also starts to share project properties, including institutional presence on DEC and Kings League communication platforms.
– The Kings League is entertainment and competition at the same time. PaiN’s entry as co-manager of Desimpedidos unites two pioneering brands, expands the reach of the project and creates new opportunities for fans, brands and the league itself. It is exactly the movement that DEC needed to take a leap forward in 2026 – said Edinho Potsch, co-CEO of NWB.

André Barros, also co-CEO of NWB, reinforces that the partnership goes beyond brand exposure.
– We are talking about shared management, with joint decisions and a long-term vision. Desimpedidos and paiN have built strong communities and are now joining forces to raise DEC’s competitive level and consolidate gamified football as a relevant territory with great cultural impact – he highlighted.
CEO of paiN Gaming, Thomas Hamence explains that the organization takes on a structural role in the project.
– It is not a sponsorship. It is a real co-management, in which paiN participates in building the team on and off the court, in developing the brand and in competitive expansion. We created a sportstainment project that connects two extremely engaged communities: esports fans and the Kings League and Desimpedidos public – he commented.
According to Thomas, the project was born as an independent business unit, with its own investor structure and openness to new sponsors. Although unrelated to previous commercial agreements, the franchise naturally favors brands that already have a relationship with paiN and Desimpedidos, due to their affinity and history with their audiences.
paiN Gaming will also have direct participation in sports planning, collaborating in assembling the squad and defining performance guidelines, while the art and design teams of the two organizations jointly develop the team’s complete visual identity, including the official name and uniform. Full details of the new project will be revealed in early 2026.
Desimpedidos Esporte Clube: signings for 2026
DEC is also revamping its roster. Under the presidency of influencer and businessman Toguro, who will share the role with a big name in entertainment, yet to be revealed, the club announced four wildcard signings for 2026: Davi Ilario, Christian Aguiar, Juvenal Oliveira and Douglas Gurgel, all with recent experience in prominent campaigns in the Kings League.
The technical committee was also renewed, with Felipe Pantera taking over as coach and Arthur Félix as assistant.
