The Joint Budget Committee (CMO) of the National Congress approved this Friday the 2026 Budget, forecasting a primary surplus of R$34.5 billion next year, slightly above the fiscal target of R$34.3 billion.
The project now goes to analysis by deputies and senators in a joint session of the National Congress. Voting is expected this Friday, before parliamentarians go on year-end recess.
