The ORF is softening its previously consistent rejection of DAB+. Ö3 has also been available on digital radio since Friday, a pilot test, as the ORF emphasizes. So far, the ORF has strictly followed the line: If it is not allowed to offer additional program offerings on DAB+, such as a newer version of Ö3, then it leaves DAB+ alone. Parallel operation with VHF has so far been rejected.
