According to reports, the monthly salary payment was made, but the thirteenth salary had not yet been deposited into all accounts throughout the day.
In a public note released this Friday, the city hall informed, through the Municipal Secretariat for Administrative Management (SMGA), that the payment of earnings for the current period is being made throughout December 19, especially for employees of the municipal departments of Education and Health. The statement clarifies that, due to the high financial volume of the December payroll added to the thirteenth salary, the credits do not occur simultaneously, being released gradually by financial institutions.
The municipal administration also highlighted that, due to the end of year festivities, SMGA’s in-person activities are suspended. Despite this, teams from the Payroll Department, the People Management Department and the Treasury continue working to ensure that the amounts are correctly credited to the employees’ accounts.
In addition to the official note, the city council expressed itself through a comment on social media, apologizing for the inconvenience and reinforcing that the banking system makes deposits in a staggered manner. According to management, the expectation is that all payments, including the thirteenth salary, will be completed by the end of the day.

It is clarified that, due to the high values and the significant financial volume relating to the December payroll and the thirteenth salary, credits will occur gradually throughout the day, considering the large volume of data and operations sent to financial institutions.
It should also be noted that, due to the end-of-year festivities, the Municipal Department of Administrative Management will have its face-to-face activities suspended. However, the team from the Payroll Department, from the People Management Directorate, together with the Treasury of Rio Branco City Hall, continues to work in a dedicated manner to ensure the correct transfer of earnings to employees.
