A note saying that the now US president called the tycoon was among the documents published
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) on Saturday published more files on the late financier accused of child sex trafficking Jeffrey Epstein, including grand jury materials from his court case and that of his accomplice and former companion Ghislaine Maxwell.
The DOJ therefore continued to release documents from the tycoon, who committed suicide in 2019, in compliance with the law that obliges the government to reveal all unclassified information about the case.
Among the new documents are several PowerPoint presentations that federal prosecutors showed to grand jury members with the aim of formally charging Epstein and Maxwell.
In a presentation relating to Epstein, dated June 18, 2019, there are several phone notes with handwritten messages that say “I have a girl for him” or “she has girls for Mr. JE”.
In one of these notes, someone noted that Epstein had received a call from the now President of the United States, Donald Trump, although there is no other note about the reason for the contact.
Other names appearing in these notes were omitted, as well as in the documents released last night, in which part of the content was censored.
The presentation also includes records of flights to cities such as New York and Palm Beach (Florida), as well as photographs of the tycoon’s residences in both locations.
The DOJ also released testimony from an FBI agent who told the grand jury that Epstein met a 14-year-old high school dropout and told her she could make money “if she gave a rich man a massage.”
“She wanted to make money, so she agreed to go to his residence and massage him,” said the agent, highlighting that, after that time, the minor went to Epstein’s house “dozens of times.”
In some of these encounters, she “had to massage him in her underwear or directly naked, and sometimes he touched her breasts and genitals.”
In the case of Ghislaine Maxwell, the DOJ published a presentation presented to the grand jury on June 29, 2020, which includes images of her alongside the mogul. These photographs had already been published previously.
Also included were statements from Maxwell while being questioned by authorities, as well as emails from unknown senders.
In one, someone thanks Epstein for the “generous gift of $200,000 for a residency grant.”
