Actor Dado Dolabella used social media this Saturday afternoon (20/12) to explain himself after being involved in a traffic accident on Avenida Doutor Ricardo Jafet, in the Ipiranga neighborhood, in São Paulo. During the early hours of the morning, he allegedly crashed his car into an app driver’s vehicle and fled shortly afterwards. According to witnesses, he was drunk.

On Instagram, he reacted and said that the accusations against him are not true. “I need to clarify about the accident that happened to me yesterday, which is saying that I ran away and that is not true”, he began. “I was leaving the drive-thru and hadn’t even accessed the road yet when the other car came and hit my car”, he pointed out.
According to him, the driver of the vehicle was impaired. “The car that came had such dark insulation that I couldn’t see anything. So, probably because of that insulation, he didn’t see me, he hit my car, got out of the car, blaming me, shouting, talking loudly”, he continued.
“I asked him to lower his voice to talk more comfortably, he continued to be upset, shouting, wanting to attract the attention of others on the street. I had my young daughter, a teenager, in the car with me and she was very scared by it all”, continued the actor.
Left the place
Dado Dolabella continued his outburst and said he left the place to protect his daughter. “And then, to protect her, with the situation that remained there, totally, you know, insecure, I couldn’t know what the boy’s actions were going to be altered at the moment… I took it and went away to do the OR [boletim de ocorrência] of accident. But thank God there are cameras there and the truth will come out.”
According to police information, the vehicle hit by the actor’s car suffered damage to the front side. After the collision, the app driver remained at the scene, while Dado Dolabella fled. According to the victim’s statement, Dado left the drive-thru at high speed and collided with his car. The celebrity appeared to be drunk.
