Gramado enters the Guinness Book of World’s Longest Christmas Festival

O Natal Luz de Gramado (RS) was named by the Guinness Book, the book of records, as the longest Christmas festival in the world. The recognition took place during the presentation of the show Nativitaten, on Saturday (20).

The programming has 88 days long. In this edition, the shows began on October 23rd and continue until January 18th. There are more than 350 artistic and cultural activities, with the participation of approximately 2,500 professionals.

“Each year we seek to surpass ourselves, innovate and excite. The recognition from Guinness World Records is a gift for our community and for every tourist who gets excited and celebrates Christmas in Gramado”, said the president of Gramadotur, Rosa Helena Volk.

Among the events at Natal Luz are the Grand Christmas Parade, the Nativitaten show and the illusionism show with Henry and Klaus.

The program also includes free activities, such as musical shows on Rua Coberta, the Christmas Village and Santa Claus House.

Gramado City Hall expects to receive 2.8 million tourists by the end of Natal Luz.
