Jerusalem/Doha – The Israeli parliament has decided to extend a law that allows a broadcast ban on foreign media classified as dangerous. The MPs voted for the change in the law on Tuesday night. The Knesset announced this on the online service X. The regulation passed in April 2024 was primarily aimed at the Qatari broadcaster Al-Jazeera, which the Israeli government accuses of propaganda for Hamas.
