Shortly before the scheduled time for surgery, Jair Bolsonaro (PL) this Thursday (25), the senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) read a letter signed by his father, in which the former president confirms his son as his successor in the 2026 elections.
The parliamentarian read the statement to journalists on the sidewalk of the hospital where the former chief executive is hospitalized.
Although the document contains the date of December 25th, before Bolsonaro was hospitalized, by a lawyer. According to the senator, the letter was written by the former representative at the Federal Police Superintendence, in Brasília.
The former president must undergo one from 9am this Thursday, Christmas Day.

“Throughout my life, I have faced tough battles, paying a high price, with my health and family, to defend what I believe to be the best for our Brazil.”
