The deputy (PL-SC), an ally of the former president (PL), criticizes the quality of the responses sent by the government to requests for information that it filed throughout 2025 to question ministries on topics ranging from agriculture to the rights of children and adolescents.
Zanatta filed a total of 72 requests to ministries such as Communications, Finance, Human Rights, Defense, Health, among others. Of these, ten are still within the response deadline. Of the others, 61 were responded to, while one was not.
In the parliamentarian’s assessment, of the 61 respondents, 32 were “satisfactory”, clarifying doubts. The rest were not satisfactory, says the deputy.
“During Bolsonaro’s Presidency, Lula shouted all the time that ‘there is a lack of transparency’. But it was enough to turn the government around to turn information requests into mockery”, he criticizes.
“My office asks and the Executive responds with an empty answer, without a number, without a document, without anything to check. This is a joke. It’s the Lula government lying in its propaganda, posing as democratic and transparent, while hiding information, shielding the ministry and treating Parliament and the citizen like idiots”, he says.
