“Either you solve it or I solve it”, said young man who killed his boyfriend and girlfriend

Before running over and killing her boyfriend Raphael Costa and a 19-year-old girl, Geovanna Proque da Silva sent a series of messages to the boy, with content involving jealousy and threats. The crime took place in the south of São Paulo, in the early hours of this Sunday (28).

Raphael, 21 years old, and Joyce Corrêa da Silva, who was on the back of the motorcycle, were killed after chasing Geovanna, arrested for the crime of qualified homicide.

According to testimonies, Geovanna and Raphael had a romantic relationship about a year ago. On the day of the crime, Raphael was at a barbecue at home, when his partner started sending jealous messages from another woman who was at the party, around 2am.

One of the messages sent by Geovanna said: “Either you solve it or I solve it”. The Civil Police are investigating the messages and the possible motivation for the crime. Witnesses reported that the woman would be a childhood friend of the victim and, therefore, Geovanna’s jealousy was unfounded.

After the message, Geovanna went to his house, with her stepmother, whose name has not yet been released. The two entered the house, but the boy managed to hold them back in a hallway. According to reports, they were trying to enter the residence. to start a fight.

Seeing that Geovanna would not give up, Raphael took his motorbike and went for a ride. She and her stepmother got into their car and followed the boy.

The boy would have met Joyce, the second victim, in a nearby cellar to go out with him. After that, the woman chased the two at high speed. for about 500 meters.

After the accident, Geovanna went to a restaurant where Ícaro, Raphael’s best friend, worked. Upon arriving at the scene, the woman reportedly said: “You’re not going to see your friend, are you? Who I just killed along with that slut.”

Os Funeral services for the victims took place on Monday morning (29). Both were mourned and buried in cemeteries in Greater São Paulo.
