Bangkok/Phnom Penh – Thailand has released 18 Cambodian prisoners of war who have been held for five months. The handover took place as part of a ceasefire with which both countries had recently ended heavy fighting along their shared border, as the Foreign Ministry announced in Bangkok. The International Red Cross (ICRC) Committee confirmed the release.
