The re-presentation also served to introduce new professionals to the group, the result of a staff restructuring promoted by the board. Among the new players on the field was midfielder Danielzinho, the first reinforcement announced for the season, while goalkeeper Carlos Coronel underwent medical examinations and should be made official in the next few days.
An absence felt was that of the midfielder. The player was not at the training center and is still in talks with his representatives and the club to define an amicable termination of the contract, a move that will end his career as a professional athlete.
The reintroduced cast also confirmed changes in relation to the group from last season. Some players who were in 2025 did not return to work at the beginning of the year, while others joined the under-20 squad to compete in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, as part of the planning for using the base.
Among the athletes who participated in the activities, the club included players who were recovering from longer injuries. The technical committee works with individual schedules, but there is an expectation that some names will be available at the beginning of the Campeonato Paulista.
São Paulo returns to training this Saturday and, after the activity, will head to CFA de Cotia, where they will concentrate for the pre-season. The debut at Paulistão is scheduled for January 11th, away from home, against Mirassol.
