Even Donald Trump makes no secret of his motives: After the attack on Venezuela, US oil companies should invest in the country and expand oil production, the US President said at a press conference on Saturday. “Our giant US oil companies, the largest in the world, will invest billions of dollars, repairing the dilapidated oil infrastructure and making money for the country.”
