Andressa Souza da Silva Maia, 30 years old, was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm on Monday afternoon (12), during an action by a garrison of the 1st Military Police Battalion, following an anonymous complaint in Rio Branco.
According to the PM, the complaint stated that a woman wearing a red blouse was carrying a firearm with a scope inside a backpack, in a kiosk located on Rua Bem-Te-Vi, in the Universitário neighborhood. Given the information, the police went to the indicated address, known as Kiosque do Parque.

At the scene, the garrison located a woman with the above characteristics. Andressa had a backpack that had an abnormal volume and, upon noticing the police team approaching, she showed surprise, restlessness and excessive nervousness.
During the search of the backpack, the military found a homemade firearm, .22 caliber, disassembled, with no apparent number, equipped with a scope, as well as two intact .22 caliber ammunition.

Given the facts, the suspect was arrested. Andressa Souza da Silva Maia was taken to the Central Flagrantes Police Station (Defla), where she was available to the courts for the appropriate legal procedures.
