Trump says he had a call about Greenland with NATO chief

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said this Tuesday (20) that he had a “very good” telephone conversation with the Secretary General of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), Mark Rutte, about Greenland.

Trump also said he had agreed to a multi-party meeting in Davos, Switzerland, during the World Economic Forum. He did not specify what these parts would be.

“As I have made clear to everyone, Greenland is essential to national and global security. There is no going back — everyone agrees on that!” he said in a post on Truth Social.

Trump had previously told reporters that the United States would discuss it at this week’s World Economic Forum because Denmark cannot protect the territory.
