Paris – France moved closer to banning online networks for children and young people under 15 on Monday. The members of the National Assembly voted with a large majority in Paris on Monday for a corresponding draft law. 116 MPs voted for the government-backed plan, 23 voted against it. If the Senate also agrees, the ban, which includes Tiktok, Snapchat and Instagram, could already apply in the coming school year.
