Denmark’s indomitable handball players beat Germany in the European Championship final


Herning – Denmark’s handball men have completed the triple. After four World Cup triumphs in a row and the 2024 Olympic victory, the Scandinavians also won the European Championship title on Sunday. In the European Championship final in front of a home crowd in Herning, the Danes defeated Germany 34:27 (18:16). It is their third continental title – after 2008 and 2012. Croatia secured European Championship bronze in the small final against Iceland with a 34:33 (17:14).
