Altach – Football champions Sturm Graz failed in the ÖFB Cup quarter-finals on Sunday. The Styrians, with their new coach Fabio Ingolitsch, lost 1:3 after extra time at his former club Altach. The Vorarlbergers made it into the cup semi-finals for the first time after goals from Patrick Greil (52nd/penalty margin, 105th) and Srdan Hrstic (102nd) and Axel Kayombo (72nd). Sturm ended the match with nine players following yellow-red for Tim Oermann (79′) and the injury to keeper Danijl Chudjakow (110′).
