“We have to have a little fun,” crooned pop icon Roberto Blanco last Saturday at Vienna’s Stephansplatz. At 89, Blanco was even older than the birthday child he was celebrating: the FPÖ. But the right-wing party would actually have preferred another star of German kitsch, namely Heino. At least that’s what the musician claimed in the German “Bild” newspaper. He would have gotten 100,000 euros.
