The incident was recorded in Beco do Araçá, at the back of Residencial Araçá, a region popularly called Vila Betel. Police officers from the Rotam Delta team were patrolling on foot when they noticed the presence of four men and two women gathered in front of a house without a wall or fence, drinking alcohol and listening to music.

The group’s attitude caught the attention of the military, who decided to carry out the approach. During the personal search, nothing illegal was found with those present. However, when observing the interior of the residence from the outside, the police noticed that doors and windows were open, which allowed them to view several plastic bags containing already fractionated narcotic substances, spread out on a dresser.

Faced with the situation, the police questioned who was responsible for the property. Paulo Vitor Lopes da Costa, 19 years old, introduced himself as a resident of the place. He reported that the house belonged to a considerate uncle, but that he lived alone in the property.
