Deputy and mayor of Recife organized an event for families; they get married on February 21st
The mayor of Recife and pre-candidate for the government of Pernambuco, (PSB), and the federal deputy (PSB) released images of the engagement lunch in São Paulo on Sunday (Feb 1, 2026). They they will get married after the Carnival holiday.
“A very special engagement lunch with our families. Life is very good with you!”declared the couple on on Instagram.

The religious ceremony will be reserved for close friends and family. The couple chose to hold the event on the coast of Pernambuco, outside the state capital, Recife, to avoid crowds.
Campos, 32, and Tabata, 32, have been together since 2019. the engagement on November 29, 2025.
In 2024, the deputy reported how the rapprochement between them came about. He said they started working together at the Chamber and developed a friendship. She stated that the man from Pernambuco declared himself during a dinner, which took her by surprise: “I wasn’t prepared”.
Campos is in his 2nd term as mayor of Recife. He was re-elected in the 1st round with 78.11% of the valid votes.
Tabata is a federal deputy. She was elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. In 2024, she ran for Mayor of São Paulo, but came in 4th place, with 9.91% of valid votes, and did not go to the 2nd round.
