One accident involving a car Tesla Cybertruck left a motorcyclist dead on the morning of this Wednesday (11), on Avenida Cidade Jardim, an upscale neighborhood in the West Zone of São Paulo.
The vehicle is valued at more than R$1.5 million and has an “exotic and futuristic” design.
According to the Fire Department, teams from Samu (Mobile Emergency Care Service) rescued the victim before the corporation arrived at the scene. The managed 32, was taken to Hospital das Clínicas, but he couldn’t resist.
According to the SSP (Public Security Secretariat), the Tesla driver was traveling with a green traffic light when the motorcyclist entered the wrong lane, which caused the accident.
Still according to the folder, the driver remained at the scene, provided assistance and presented the images recorded by the vehicle’s camera. He showed no signs of intoxication. Forensics and the IML (Legal Medical Institute) were called to the scene.
CET (Traffic Engineering Company) reported that the runway was released at 6:05 am.
The case was registered as a suspicious death in the 14th Police District (Pinheiros). Work is still ongoing to fully clarify the facts.
