Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), pre-candidate for the Presidency, stated this Thursday (12) that he will not do without possible support from centrist parties, despite the group having “opportunists”.
“There are opportunists, but we are very realistic. I am aware that, alone, we will not get anywhere. In Congress, there is everything. … It is not ideal, but it is what we have. So, it makes no sense to dismiss people or parties from the center”, he declared in an interview with the Pânico program, on Young Pan.
Flávio said that he will leave the “door open for everyone on the center and right who wants to stand alongside” him and that it is necessary for the center-right group to focus their energies on “pointing out the PT’s mistakes” and not on disputes between themselves, because the election will be close.
Opportunity with security!
The senator cited the governor of Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado, now in the PSD, and said he believes that the governor will take a stand against the PT.
Flávio Bolsonaro announced his pre-candidacy on December 5th, and since then, he has tried to capture the endorsement of acronyms such as PP, Republicans, União Brasil and PSD – the latter with intentions of his own candidacy. As a strategy, the pre-candidate has avoided criticizing his opponents and says he hopes for a unification of the center and the right, even in the second round.
