Rock in Rio announced this Tuesday (10/2) new attractions for the 2026 edition, with emphasis on Laufey, Péricles and Luísa Sonza, who will join the festival’s September 7th program. The event takes place on the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 11th, 12th and 13th of September, at the Olympic Park, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
In addition to the three artists, the 7th will also feature Elton John, who will headline the Mundo stage, as well as Gilberto Gil and Jon Batiste. On the same date, Luísa Sonza opens the main stage in a show alongside Roberto Menescal. On the Sunset stage, Laufey, Péricles, with a show dedicated to the Motown repertoire, and Roupa Nova, which welcomes Guilherme Arantes as a guest, are confirmed.
