As Brazilian retail sales fell 0.4% in December compared to the previous month and rose 2.3% compared to a year before, informed the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) this Friday (13).
The expectation in a Reuters poll was for a drop of 0,20% in the monthly comparison and an increase of 2.50% over a year before.
