Goldman Sachs chief legal officer leaves after Epstein connection


Washington/New York – After the revelation of connections to the notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a senior manager at the US bank Goldman Sachs is resigning. Chief lawyer Kathryn Ruemmler will leave the credit institution on June 30, as has Goldman Sachs, among others Financial Timesthe New York Times and confirmed to the financial service Bloomberg. Ruemmler was previously a prosecutor, lawyer and general counsel in President Barack Obama’s White House.
