One makeup artist known in the artistic world is being investigated for a possible diversion of almost R$300 thousand of a beauty salon located in São Paulo. The investigation began after the owner of the establishment identify financial irregularities in the business accounts.

According to information, the professional — who serves famous clients and has great visibility on social media – he had access to salon accounts and would be responsible for financial movements. The owner of the space noticed a series of suspicious transactionsinvolving withdrawals of values without clear justification in cash flow.
Given the findings, the businesswoman sought police and registered a police reportstarting the police investigation. The case is being analyzed by the civil policewhich seeks to clarify whether there was, in fact, diversion of resources and what would have been the makeup artist participation in the alleged scheme.
Beauty salon owners interviewed stated that it is common for professionals to have a certain autonomy in servicebut warn that the strict financial control is essential to avoid internal fraud.
O makeup artist investigated stated, in statement to the policewhich carried out financial transfersbut denied that he had committed any crime. According to him, the amounts moved would refer to payments for services providedclaiming that he worked directly at the salon and that the payments corresponded to the work carried out throughout the period analyzed.
The professional maintains that there was no embezzlementtreating the case as a disagreement of a financial nature and not as a criminal practice.
