“If you have an escape route, run. Just pick up your phone and put it on silent,” wrote the department in the manual. If possible, other people should be warned to avoid the danger and not to enter the zone. If we do not endanger ourselves, we must call the hotline. Help can only be provided if we do not endanger ourselves.
If it is not possible to leave the dangerous area, it is necessary to hide in safety within it. The Ministry advises to lock the door behind you, leave the key in the lock. It can be hidden behind large and solid objects, staying near windows is not safe. In case of immediate threat, it is time to fight the attacker. Objects in the surroundings, a kettle, keys, a belt, a knife or a fire extinguisher can be used as weapons.
In addition, in case of a bomb attack threat, it is necessary to quickly leave the dangerous area and call the emergency line, in addition, people should not use the phone unnecessarily. In case of a bomb threat, it can be dangerous to use an open flame or switch on electrical appliances. “Protect your respiratory tract, if possible shut off the main gas and electricity supplies,” stated the Ministry of the Interior in the manual.
In the case of receiving a suspicious package, opening it or shaking it can be dangerous. It must be placed in a plastic bag or similar packaging. Then you have to leave the area and secure the room. The resort also advises washing hands with soap and water. Only then should you call the emergency number. “The relevant rescue unit will collect the shipment from you and take it to verify the contents,” added the ministry.
