Shopping zone Four days, tens of thousands of opportunities: Prime Day returns to Amazon.pl from June 23 to June 26

Shopping with satisfaction: a bargain as a reward for your cleverness

Prime Day is more than just savings for Polish customers: it is a ritual in which patient waiting finally meets with reward. The latest research shows that for 75% of Poles, finding a good deal is a source of real satisfaction, and 68% feel like they are smart consumers. Moreover, shopping becomes a form of self-care – as many as 62% of Poles admit that they buy something only for themselves as a reward or for pleasure. Prime Day is the perfect time to put this strategy into action.

“Poles know perfectly well what they are looking for and can patiently wait for the best moment to buy. We know that our customers prepare for Prime Day in advance – they create shopping lists and compare prices. Prime Day is our response to their strategic approach. The four days of the event are a space for well-thought-out decisions, and tens of thousands of opportunities in key categories – from electronics, through home, to beauty – are the perfect opportunity to reward yourself and your loved ones with a successful purchase at an attractive price. It is an event in which the satisfaction of a wise choice is combined with real savings,” says Katarzyna Ciechanowska-Ciosk, managing director of Amazon.pl.

What goes into a strategist’s basket?

What do customers in Poland hunt for and when? A study by the Ariadna research panel for Amazon.pl shows that over half of Poles (51%) prefer to shop online in the afternoon and evening – between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.

When it comes to the hierarchy of what goes into the basket first, the answer is clear: products for ourselves – things we are waiting for. Only then do Poles reach for practical products for the entire home, electronics and technology, and then for shopping for children and loved ones. It also turns out that we make individual decisions about purchases, most often in the categories of cosmetics and care (54%), food and chemical products, as well as sports footwear (47% each). In turn, in consultation with a partner, as many as every second Pole makes decisions regarding the choice of small and large household appliances, as well as sports equipment.

This is confirmed by data on self-purchase: 62% of Poles buy something exclusively for themselves as a reward, pleasure or whim, at least sometimes, and only 38% do it rarely or almost never. What categories are behind these purchases? Poles are most likely to buy products from the beauty and care, fashion and accessories, hobbies and gadgets, and entertainment and content categories.

Every third customer trusts Polish brands on Amazon.pl – curiosity, pride and real shopping

Polish brands play a special role among this year’s opportunities. Ariadna’s research shows that the sight of a domestic brand on Amazon.pl evokes trust, pride and curiosity among almost every third customer – positive emotions clearly dominate over skepticism. Importantly, awareness of the presence of Polish brands in the online store has a real impact on purchasing decisions – some customers (35%) openly admit that this is one of the reasons they choose Amazon.pl.

Poles are most likely to buy products from domestic producers in categories such as clothing and footwear, cosmetics and care, health and supplements, and home and interior design – and all of these categories will be strongly represented in this year’s promotions. Only 17% of respondents admit that they do not pay attention to the country of origin of the product when shopping online – which means that the Polish origin of the brand is important for the vast majority. Polish companies available for Prime Day deals include: Krosno, NEONAIL, Wessper, Moya Matcha and Trefl.

More than shopping: Prime Day Café in Poznań

Prime Day is not only about online deals. Polish brands available on Amazon.pl have prepared their attractions in the zone: Krosno, Trefl, Bult, Moya Matcha, NEONAIL, Play, Neboa and Wessper – from tastings and workshops to family games.

Prime Day also goes to the streets: from June 4, there is a nationwide city game Paczkomat Challenge in cooperation with InPost, in which you can win 150 packages with LEGO, Kindle, Sony PlayStation, ASUS, Wessper, NEONAIL, Trefl and Moya Matcha products. More at: https://paczkomatchallenge.pl
