prepares an economic agenda for the post-election period with a focus on reducing spending and should discuss the resumption of projects such as the one that limits debt and taxes.
The idea is to prepare them to promote expense reduction and remove obstacles to economic growth. The focus, according to the front, is to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Parliamentarians want to discuss reducing the rate of , controlling public debt, containing government expenses and attracting more investment to the country.
The front defends some proposals that are already being processed in Congress and can be improved. This is the case of the project, known as PEC do Emprego.
The article proposes replacing companies’ current social security contribution of 20% on payroll with a single rate of 1.4% on the company’s gross revenue.
Another proposal on the table is the Budget Reform PEC, which would leave the budget entirely mandatory.
Other proposals are also on the radar. To gather all the ideas, the front will kick off at the beginning of July with the beginning of a cycle of seminars that should bring together experts, representatives of the market and the productive sector to prepare the proposals that will be presented only after the election.
The first meeting will be on July 2nd and will discuss. Representatives from XP Investimentos, the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban) and the National Confederation of Financial Institutions (FIN) have already confirmed their presence.
Other meetings should address central themes of the economy, tax burden and limits on public debt.
