Welcome to the live narration of the final of Benidorm Fest 2026
It is celebrated tonight in the Levantine city. This fifth edition has been a turning point for the contest due to its separation from Eurovision. RTVE’s resignation from participating in the European festival will mean that, unlike other years, tonight’s winner will not become Spain’s representative in Eurovision, as happened in previous years. Instead, the prize will consist of 100,000 euros for the performer and 50,000 for the composers of the song, in addition to the Golden Little Mermaid trophy, the iconic statuette that the winners of the old Benidorm Festival received and which from this edition replaces the bronze microphone. The winner will also be able to travel to the US to record a single with a prominent Latin music producer. And Spotify will choose a finalist to record a song in Stockholm within Spotify Singles.
This year there have been 12 artists who have reached the final and who will compete tonight on the stage of the Palau d’Esports l’Illa in Benidorm in the final that will be broadcast live by La 1 starting at 10:00 p.m. Here you can follow all the information up to the minute.
The two semi-finals left a selection of twelve artists who will compete for victory tonight. It has been chosen in the following way: four have been chosen by draw to perform in the first half of the gala, another four for the second half, and of the other four it has been the artistic direction of the contest that has been in charge of choosing their place. The final order of performance tonight will be as follows:
