A man in his 20s was arrested after three teenagers were stabbed in the tourist district of Minami, in Osaka, around midnight on Sunday (15). One of them died in the attack.
Japanese broadcaster NTV reported that the victim was a 17-year-old boy.
The suspect, identified by local media as 21-year-old Ryoga Iwasaki, was arrested on suspicion of murder.
According to NTV, the man was known to the teenagers and had gotten into some trouble with them shortly before the attack.
