See how the opening round of the Brazilian Women’s Championship went

Three clashes made up the opening round of the Brazilian Women’s Championship this Saturday (14).

Fluminense 1 x 0 Vitória

In the first game of the day, the Fluminense won the Victory 1-0 at the Luso Brasileiro Stadium. The goal of the match came in second-half stoppage time: Sochor scored in the 49th minute and secured the three points.

With the result, Fluminense starts the competition in fourth place, while Vitória starts in 15th place.

Bahia 0 x 2 Cruzeiro

In Pituaçu, the Cruise surpassed the Bahia 2-0. Byanca Brasil scored twice in the first half and defined the result of the match.

Thus, Cruzeiro starts in third place in the table, while Bahia occupies second place.

Botafogo 2 x 1 Youth

Closing Saturday, the Botafogo defeated the Youth 2-1 at the Nilton Santos Stadium.

Ana Caroline opened the scoring for the Rio team in the 25th minute of the first half, and Fernanda Tipa doubled the score at 33. In the second half, Martha Figueiredo scored for the Caxias do Sul team.

The achievement places Botafogo in second place in the competition. Juventude, in turn, appears in 16th place.
