With Lula present, BaianaSystem leads the chorus of ‘no amnesty’ at Salvador Carnival

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) attended the Salvador Carnival this Saturday (14), in the Bahia government box. In a video published on social media, the governor of Bahia, Jerônimo Rodrigues (PT), shared the moment in which the Salvadoran band BaianaSystem sang “olê, olê, olê, olá, Lula, Lula” and, subsequently, “no amnesty”.

Lula was present at the Osmar circuit, in Campo Grande, the most traditional of the Bahian capital’s carnival, with the first lady, Janja Lula da Silva, and the Minister of Culture, Margareth Menezes.

On Sunday (15), the head of the Executive will follow the parade of the Acadêmicos de Niterói samba school, in Rio. The group’s samba-plot pays homage to the president.
