Groß Gerungs – A dead infant and his seriously injured mother were discovered in an apartment in Groß Gerungs (Zwettl district) late on Wednesday afternoon. The woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition, said Stefan Pfandler, head of the Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office, upon request and confirmed media reports.
