An unusual “intruder” was present on Wednesday morning during the women’s freestyle team sprint qualification in cross-country skiing at the Olympics. A dog, apparently a Czechoslovakian wolfdog, entered the track and followed the athletes to the finish line while cameras recorded the race.
The animal chased skiers Konstantina Charalampidou, from Greece, and Tena Hadzic, from Croatia, crossed the finish line, smelled the members of the Argentine team and went to the interview area. Despite its wild appearance, the dog did not pose any danger and was even petted by several athletes before being collected by an organizer.
Is Lightning or Olympus better for this Czechoslovakian wolf? 😂
His name is actually Nazgul 🥰— Eurosport IT (@Eurosport_IT)
