Bern – A 49-year-old was killed by an avalanche on Tuesday during a ski trip with his 15-year-old son in Parsonz in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The two were outside the marked piste. Several people skied down a slope in the open ski area next to a ski lift, the Graubünden cantonal police wrote on Thursday. When the avalanche released, it buried father and son. The 15-year-old was freed and taken to the hospital.
