When celebrities want to show themselves personally and up close in documentaries, they like to go shopping. This is how the new ZDF documentary “Kapitän Kimmich” starts, about the professional footballer Joshua Kimmich, captain of the German national football team. The soccer star can be seen pushing the shopping cart through the supermarket next to his wife Lina Kimmich. She routinely leads people through the aisles and lists which groceries they need to get. On the other hand, he seems a little like he’s here for the first time, grabbing sweets and complaining that his wife doesn’t allow him to eat certain products.
