Ana Garcia Martins, better known as ‘Pipoca Mais Doce’, used her Instagram account to comment on the two earthquakes that hit Portugal on the afternoon of Thursday, February 19th.
The tremors were felt in several areas of the Lisbon region, but also in the districts of Santarém, Leiria and Coimbra, and the digital content creator explained how she reacted to the moment.
“I know it’s good to have small earthquakes, because it releases tension and I don’t know what (I’m not a seismologist, don’t ask me for specifics, let me go), but I believe that all these mini earthquakes have been just a stage for a bigger one that’s about to arrive. God forbid and save us, but that’s what I think. And I’m going to fail dismally if that happens because, once again, I was just looking at the shaking shelf and thinking “Do you want to see that all this shit falls on me and then it takes 15 days just to put everything in place?”…”he began by writing, in the caption of the post he made on his Instagram account.
‘Pipoca Mais Doce’ highlighted his apathy towards the panic situation and, in the end, left a guarantee: “Survival instinct? Zero! He shook it the first time, he shook it the second time, he shook it the third time (I think, my neighbors say no) and I nothing! I didn’t run to grab a battery-powered radio, a flashlight, a whistle, a thermal blanket, a photo of the boys… nothing. It’s just nothing! Don’t count on me to save the world, I won’t even get away with it”he joked.
