Ju de Paulabest friend of the singer Preta Gil (1974 – 2025) opened her heart on social media, this Thursday (19), after participating in a tribute to the artist during Carnival.
“Still recovering from all the emotions of Carnival and with a lot of people to thank… But, first of all, I need to say that being in this tribute to her, at a party that she loved so much, was a trial by fire”, she said.
Ju talked about missing her, and how difficult it was to enjoy the festivities without her company.
“I felt, in so many moments, her presence there, the smell of her there and, at the same time, I had to deal with the emptiness of not having her there. We try to get it out of the way — but, on the first day on the avenue, with Ivete passing by, the emptiness of that moment sank in for the first time. From then on, there were mixed feelings and a lot of strength to hold on until the end of Carnival”, he wrote.
“Everything was in your face, the way you would have done it, but there was a great feeling that the honoree would never arrive and would not arrive even in the presence of [física] — but I know that I was in spirit”, concluded the best friend.
