A humorous non-fiction book about Vienna is now included Sorry Vienna (€20.95/312 pages, Sorry Press). 13 local writers from Arad Dabiri to Barbi Marković and Tonio Schachinger to Stefanie Sargnagel. Each of them has chosen a place and brings it closer to readers through a short story. Obviously represented: the Institute for Applied Language Arts in Vienna. Also the Wurstelprater and the Burgtheater, the Lugner City, an outdoor swimming pool. The texts are available in English for an international audience. The book was created as part of the Sorry Press Writers Residency, the aim of which is to produce a series of literary travel guides. The first was dedicated to the Sicilian Siracusa. The book premiere will take place this Saturday, 3 p.m., at the Crone Gallery in Vienna.
