For many employees, the home office has become an integral part of their working reality. There they can work with concentration and without distraction. On top of that, you save yourself the journey. But not all management levels understand this. Many companies in the USA have abolished home offices in recent years, some at very short notice. The major British bank Lloyds Bank, on the other hand, made headlines just over a year ago when it announced that it would link the payment of bonuses to certain employees’ attendance at the office.
