Drone attacks lead to suspension of operations at some Moscow airports

Flights were ⁠suspended at three ⁠Moscow airports this Sunday (22), ‌Russian aviation regulatory agency Rosaviatsia reported, in connection ⁠with ‌drone attacks which, according to the city’s mayor, were repelled.

Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports had their operations interrupted in a series of recurring suspensions. ‌Sheremetevo airport was operating normally, Rosaviatsia reported.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, in a series of Telegram posts, said that 20 Ukrainian drones were destroyed or intercepted on their way to Moscow from 3pm (9am Brasília time).
