Flights were suspended at three Moscow airports this Sunday (22), Russian aviation regulatory agency Rosaviatsia reported, in connection with drone attacks which, according to the city’s mayor, were repelled.
Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports had their operations interrupted in a series of recurring suspensions. Sheremetevo airport was operating normally, Rosaviatsia reported.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, in a series of Telegram posts, said that 20 Ukrainian drones were destroyed or intercepted on their way to Moscow from 3pm (9am Brasília time).
