The Turek case is officially over, the Czech Republic’s government is complete

The case surrounding the occupation of the Czech Ministry of the Environment in connection with the scandalous politician Filip Turek is – at least officially – over. President Petr Pavel swore in Igor Červený from the right-wing conservative Motorist Party as the new environment minister on Monday. This means that the government of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, which emerged from the parliamentary elections in October 2025, is complete.
