Chelsea and West Ham suffer millionaire punishment after fight between players

Chelsea and West Ham United were fined £325,000 (R$2.2 million) and £300,000 (R$2 million), respectively, for the widespread confusion that occurred at the end of a Premier League match last month, the English Football Association (FA) said on Wednesday (25).

“It was also alleged that West Ham United FC failed to ensure that its players did not behave inappropriately, provocatively and/or violently at that time.”

The FA said both clubs had admitted the allegations.
