It was foreseeable that the proposal would be rejected, except for the Greens, everyone was against it: But in the SPÖ, the Greens’ latest initiative to put pressure on an inheritance tax again caused some unease. The Greens are taking up a political issue that corresponds to the core interests of the SPÖ, but which cannot be supported by the SPÖ for coalition reasons.
