A team from the 6th BEPCIF Fire Department captured a canine snake that was found in the backyard of an S-shaped residence in the interior of Acre.
According to information, the military was called after residents noticed the presence of the animal outside the house. The team traveled to the location and captured it safely, avoiding risks to residents and the animal itself.
After rescue, the snake was released into its natural habitat, following the procedures adopted to preserve wildlife.
In recent days, cases of snakes appearing in backyards and residences in the municipality have been recorded more frequently, which reinforces the advice for the population to avoid trying to capture the animals on their own and call the Fire Department in similar situations.

This Sunday morning (22), one was seen crossing an urban road in the Ipê neighborhood, towards Calafate, in Acre. The presence of the animal caught the attention of drivers, who slowed down and even stopped momentarily to monitor the crossing.
Without signs of stress or aggression, the driver crossed the street calmly, while the drivers kept their distance and avoided any interference. The scene occurred without any incidents being reported.
