A Brazilian Bar Association – Acre Section (OAB/AC) ea Acre Lawyer’s Assistance Fund (CAAAC) reopened the institution’s plenary room this Tuesday, 24th.
The space, completely modernized, now has several innovations, now having the capacity to receive the entire composition of its board, reaching 82 seats in full and with space for expansion, changing the layout to the amphitheater style.
The space, measuring more than 280 square meters, underwent a complete revitalization between December and February, including a technical room, reception area, elevated stage, as well as council benches, all with wide accessibility.

According to the president of the Acre Sectional, Rodrigo Aiachethe change was planned with the aim of ensuring more inclusive meetings, with broad participation of members of the Sectional Council, members of CAAAC, Federal advisors, commission presidents and all those who participate and contribute to the OAB/AC system, all with comfort and wide accessibility.
“Our management has invested a lot in lawyers and will continue to invest. The renovations of the law offices and institutional spaces seek to imprint this work that will remain a legacy for the class”, he explained.
During the ceremony, Aiache highlighted that the new environment is a recognition of everyone who contributes to the growth of the institution.
“This auditorium is dedicated to each lawyer who, at times, remains in the background; to each counselor who contributes with their vote and presence, even if they are not always directly recognized. It is these professionals, with their daily dedication, who build the OAB and ensure that the legal profession exercises its essential function in the administration of justice”, stated the president.

The project was financed by the Lawyers’ Assistance Integration and Development Fund (Fida), in an integrated action between OAB/AC and CAAAC.
With the reopening, the OAB Plenary was named after the lawyer Elia Castelo da Silvawho died on the 18th, in the city of Rio Branco. During the ceremony, a tribute was paid to the family of the esteemed lawyer, who became immortalized in the main space for discussions and debates on matters of interest to the legal profession and society as a whole.
